eBoy

Eboy are a group of pixel artists who have nicknamed themselves the god fathers of pixel, they where founded in 1997 and are from Germany and U.S.A.  The group creates art work mostly for websites but also for magazines and adverts. The company has worked on projects for very large companies such as Coca-Cola, which shows how strong there work is. The art work the group create has a strong emphasis on old video games, as you can see in there work as the pixels give block colour this relates back to many peoples childhoods which could be why there work is becoming increasingly popular, in contrast to other digital work where the lines are as smooth as can be made with the hope that the pixels are hidden, eBoy relish in the old school look.

For me the work is over crowded and to busy for me to look at however I do like how they are being so different and creating work which pushes the boundaries.
